Helping Families Access Life-Saving Swim Lessons
At the Make A Splash Foundation, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn life-saving water skills, no matter their family's financial situation. Through our scholarship program, we help cover the cost of high-quality survival swim lessons, offered in partnership with local programs in Volusia County.
These lessons are designed for children ages 6 months to 8 years, giving children the confidence and skills to stay safe in and around water. Scholarships are meant for families who truly cannot afford lessons on their own.
We ask that you look over your budget before applying to see if there's anything you could temporarily set aside. If lessons are still out of reach, we encourage you to apply.
Applications can't be reviewed until we have all the required documents. Please be sure to remove or black out Social Security numbers for your safety.
If applicable:
We review every application with care to make sure scholarships go to families who truly need them. Please include your total gross household income, including that of a spouse or live-in partner (even if you're not married). Incomplete or inaccurate applications may be declined.
